PhotoDump 11-11-2007
By Brian Auer • November 11th, 2007The Epic Edits Flickr Group is still growing at a pretty strong rate. It seems that there are new people joining every day, and a handful of new photos too. I hope that everybody is enjoying the group — I know I certainly am. It has a much friendlier feel to it than other parts of Flickr. I’m seeing a lot of the group members commenting back and forth on each other’s photos, and that’s definitely a high point of the fledgling community.
Some of you may have already noticed, but I’ve implemented the photo feed into my sidebar. So as the photos are submitted to the pool, they’ll show up on the website until they get pushed off by more recent photos. Also, I’d just like to point out that the left sidebar is mine, while the right one is yours — photos from the pool, top commentators, and my del.icio.us photography bookmarks.

I’ve invited a handful of people that I think would be good additions for the group. I was selective though because I agree that the group already has a wonderful feel, quality and sense of community.
Cool, I trust that everybody in the group has good judgment for people they may choose to invite.
