I've seen extreme wide angle lenses go for absurd amounts on ebay, though if you want something wider than 24mm I'd look at getting an m42-FD off ebay and then looking for a reasonable priced m42 like a Flektagon 20mm. I decide to get a 3M digital camera (glass lens, autofocus and xeon flash) so that in theory I would always be ready for ‘that’ shot. I primarily shoot with a DSLR, but my film cameras are fun, especially my 4x5. They range from a 1933 Bessa II, not auto anything to models in the 50s and 60s and all require no batteries. Or my Yashica GTN, or my Canon AE-1P, or my...Well you get the picture :D At the moment though, economy is winning the battle and I'm shooting more than I'd like with digital.
