Use Camerapedia.org to Research Your Next Camera
By Brian Auer • May 23rd, 2008I’ve been finding myself visiting Camerapedia.org more and more lately, but I keep forgetting to mention it on the blog. This website, similar in structure to the Wikipedia, is dedicated to cameras. It’s a great tool if you’re looking for some basic information on a new camera (or an old one for that matter). Many of the articles in there also have external links to other articles around the web.
Camerapedia.org also has a Flickr group that they pull their graphics from. So if you’re prone to taking photos of your camera gear, you might consider joining the group and contributing to the pool. Who knows, your photos could get used on Camerapedia.org. And if you’re really ambitious, you can donate your camera expertise as an editor.
