Thanks a lot Brian. Just when I thought I was happy entering the world of large format you’ve got me hankering for a glass plate camera. I think realistically it’ll have to wait until I can build a darkroom though, or at least regular access to one.

If the collodion isn’t sensitive to red light it makes much more sense to do what you can in the darkroom where you can see.

First things first though. This year my goal is to build a medium format pinhole camera. 6×12 sounds nice.
