Welcome to the Epic Edits Weblog — a website with various resources aimed at helping aspiring photographers gain more experience in this wonderful hobby we’ve chosen. The focus of this site is split between taking photos and post-processing. I believe that both skillsets are required to make great photos.
My name is Brian Auer, and I run and operate this site. I consider myself to be a serious hobbyist when it comes to photography. I wouldn’t mind someday having the opportunity to make a living from photography, but for now I have a day job.
I use this website to share what knowledge I have gained over my years in photography. Topics can span shooting tips, buying guides, editing techniques, and various other subjects. The site is focused on the following weekly articles, just follow the links to see the latest in each category.

In addition to this website, I have a photo gallery called Auer PhotoWorks where I sell fine-art prints of my work. I use this blog to showcase some of my work and give other photographers a glimpse of how I made a particular photo. You can also see my work on Flickr.
