2007: A Great Year of Photography and Blogging

January 1st, 2008

WOW — 2007 was great! I started up the blog in mid-January last year, and it’s been an awesome experience since that time. I had been involved with photography a few years prior to the blog, but nothing like that of the last year. A BIG THANKS to everyone who sticks around, reads the articles, links to the blog, makes comments, and especially to those with whom I’ve become friends (you know who you are).

Creative Commons: A Great Concept I’ll Continue to Employ

November 14th, 2007

I honestly think that a majority of us should use the Creative Commons Licensing as a way to promote our work, as long as we understand what the license means. It opens up an opportunity for our work to be distributed (and attributed) under certain rules and restrictions that are somewhat less restrictive than fully Copyright, while still reserving our core rights to the work.
